Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002, has 27 seasons running until the year 2020. Ina began her writing career by writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. Although she found her job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she lost her interest in it and bought a tiny specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful for 18 years before she opted to let it go. She then began her first cookbook. Several other books and magazine articles followed. Meanwhile she also had her own Food Network show was also was a huge success. Also, she offers a selection of items ranging from cooking materials to equipment and storage containers. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor did she be employed at restaurants. She is a complete self-taught. She is known for her straightforward approach to cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
