Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has won Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget documents. Although she initially found it fascinating, eventually she stopped her interest. She then bought an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. She spent eighteen years making the business extremely profitable before letting it go and grabbing a pen to begin writing her first book. Numerous other books as well as magazines followed. Meanwhile she also had her own Food Network show was also a success. She also sells a range of products ranging from cooking supplies to storage and equipment. Ina she has not attended any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and she is completely self-taught. Her easy-going approach to entertaining and her easy cooking style is well-known.
