Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American book author, who has been awarded Emmy Awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina began working at the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies as well as the budget. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and decided to purchase a smaller specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. After selling the store it took her an entire 18 years transforming it into the most successful shop. Many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns which followed. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. She sells many things, from food ingredients food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor worked in a restaurant and has a complete self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining as well as her simple cooking style is well-known. Her best-known recipes include Skillet roasted lemon chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac and Cheese.
