Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book author for many decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina began her career by working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. Then she bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. She spent eighteen years making the business extremely profitable prior to selling it and picking up the pen to begin writing her first cookbook. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. In the meantime, her Food Network show was also a success. In addition, she offers products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and equipment. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has not attended a cooking school or been in the kitchen. She's known for her easygoing way of making food and hosting.
