Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002. It will air for 27 seasons to 2020. Ina Garten started her professional life at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually dropped interest and decided to purchase a smaller boutique of specialty foods - Barefoot Contessa. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years before she decided to shut it down. Then she began writing the first book. A number of magazines and cookbooks came later. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too started and soon became an instant hit. Her range of items spans from the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials as well as storage containers. Ina is an untrained cook that hasn't attended any cooking classes, nor worked in a kitchen. Ina is known for the simplicity of her cooking and effortless take on entertainment. Her most famous recipes are the lemon chicken skeillet in Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
