Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina was employed at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. Although she found her job intellectually stimulating initially eventually she lost her interest in it and decided to purchase a smaller specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop wildly successful, before she sold the store. After that, she started writing her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as were magazine articles. Her Food Network TV show also was launched with great success. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor worked in a restaurant and has a complete self-taught. Ina is well-known for her simple method of cooking, and her effortless take on entertainment.
