Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the writer of numerous well-known American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which began in 2002. Ina began to write Nuclear energy and policy documents for the White House. She initially found her career to be intellectually stimulating, however, she eventually lost interest and opened a grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success for 18 years, until she decided to sell it. She then began the first book. A number of other books and magazine articles followed. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. She sells many products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina never went to a cookery school nor did she work at a restaurant. Her education is completely self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed way of creating and entertaining. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts.
