Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre is a Canadian. Her first role as an actor came about when she was working in a restaurant. A Canadian film producer discovered her when she waited tables. Lefevre relocated into Los Angeles, where she got a part on the program What About Brian (2006). In the time that Lefevre was employed at the Montreal sushi bar when she was a teenager one of the customers heard about her desire to become an actor. He put her in touch with a casting director. What resulted was a Canadian TV sitcom. She was a part of several seasons of David. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004), which eventually led to a principal part in his 2008 U.S. adaptation of BBC hit Life on Mars (2008). Lefevre's father was French. She was born in Montreal however she was mostly English. in 2004, due to the lack of English speaking roles in Montreal, Lefevre moved to Los Angeles. Lefevre landed her biggest film part yet with Catherine Hardwicke's film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. This is the first of a popular collection of novels for teens.
